I love these cute necklaces that I found online at Urban Outfitters. I'm thinking of trying to make my own with some of the "doesn't fit me anymore" T-shirts that are in the kids closets.
Anyone ever tried this Up Cycled project? Any tips you wanna share?

I wonder if the DI would have some really great tshirts you would wash and use. FUN, I can't wait to see the finished project. These I love would totally buy them.
I love, love this idea- thought it was yarn at first. Would be a great thing to do - looks like the top is gathered? Or are they cut carefully into strips, twisted and then sewn at the top?
I may have to try this.
